About Ceylinco Sussex Teacher Training College

The Sussex Educational Services Ltd has established “Ceylinco Sussex Teacher Training College”, which has the responsibility of producing elitist teachers for the 21st century. All courses offered by the Training College are highly relevant, targeted combination of study and practical experience in class room teaching.

Highly recognized programmes with reasonable cost were offered over 15 years and able to generate more than 1000 of trained and qualified English medium teachers to the education system in national and international.

MR. SUNIL JAYATISSA

B.Sc (Mgt) Sp Hons, FCA, FSCMA, MCMI (UK), ACIS (UK), CIPA. Dip. Acct, Dip. CII (UK).

Mr. Sunil Jayatissa, is a Chartered Accountant by profession and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. He is also a Member of the Chartered Management Institute of UK and a BSc Management Honors Graduate of the University of Jayawardenapura. He began his career as an Audit Superintendent in the Auditor Generals Department some 20 years ago and later moved in to the challenging world of finance management in the private sector where he is well known for his expertise in finance, Taxation, Insurance and Management. His love and interest in teaching made him a much sought after lecturer in preparing thousands of students for the examinations conducted by Chartered Institute of Accountants of Sri Lanka, CIMA, Institute of Bankers and also university degree programs. It is this love and interest combined with his innate entrepreneurial skills that brought into being the SUSSEX COLLEGE which now counts over 6,000 students, as the largest School Network to have introduced English Medium Sri Lankan Curriculum. Apart from the Sussex school network, he has pioneered a couple of other successful companies which are all intended to serve the rural masses through doorstep financing. Mr. Jayatissa  is a busy professional having to sit in many committees of professional organizations such as  the Institute of Chartered Accountants,  and also as a visiting lecturer in Financial Management and Auditing in the University of Sri Jayawardenapura and University of Sabaragamuwa. His humility prevails over us to say that he prefers to retain his rural base that has blessed him with traditional simplicity and altruistic living in the midst of professional commitments requiring global outlooks which are reflected as hallmarks in all his undertakings, be they in field of financing and or in the field of education. He is a much loved husband and a lovable father of a studious son and a beautiful daughter at home and a kind and understanding boss to nearly thousand employees at work.
